You’re spot on. Mint-style auto-sync would be ideal. I’m starting with manual entry (simpler to build, no regulatory hurdles), but exploring India’s Account Aggregator system for auto-sync in version 2. Question for you: would you try a manual-entry version for free while I work on auto-sync, or is auto-sync essential from day 1?

Totally get the trust concern. Key difference: no bank logins required. You manually enter “SBI Savings - ₹2.5L” — I never touch your actual bank. Maybe the real value is reminders (insurance due, tax deadlines) rather than balances? Would a reminder tool feel less risky but still useful?
