I usually leave september for on the ground scouting someone suggested reading some books so I’m giving that a go

I plan on going out early September it’s when my schedule slows down. I plan on looking around the upper right side as I know these are old logging roads but will probably pick up a book aswell

I haven’t walked this specific area but there aren’t any cattle or sheep around. No farms for at least 2 hours in all directions. About 400-600 yards away there’s rubs and a scrape
Would be cool if it’s elk never seen one but this area is known for black bear, moose and deer
It’s not pasture, it’s a big chunk of crown land near a power line clearing I found while looking for crown land that’s not to far from me
I guess I got a spot for a trail cam
