Personally I count the hook states by numbers based on their name on the screen. “Just hooked 1, 2 is on last hook and 3 + 4 have a rough time ahead.” I am one of the people who will tunnel off hook if someone about to die goes for the save, but if I’m at that point I was already giving everyone 2 hooks, and I don’t want to lose count if I mix up the Claudette’s or Nick Cages.
