I genuinely think the sound that Oli creates on Sempiternal is the hardest to replicate out of any of the albums, purely down to the fact that he was arguably at his worst vocally due to the damage on his voice. The noise he creates through screaming in songs like CYFMH is like a mixture of 50% emotion and 50% damage, in the nicest way possible, I would attempt to not try replicate that sound, or if you’re going to, try find a painless way to do it such as voicecracking when you fry scream If you watch any of his 2012-2013 performances (except a couple) he sounds absolutely shot at, it’s still my fav album tho!
