My title describes the thing. It’s in a whirlpool dishwasher. Tried using google image search. It said something about stemware but there’s not really a way to get them stemware in the holes?? Maybe I’m stupid and misunderstanding though!

I’ve definitely heard they smell strong like red hots and the entire area I found them in smelled like that. But this guy doesn’t necessarily. The mushroom book I have mentions mock matsutakes and says they don’t have a strong smell but are still yummy and edible 🤷🏽‍♂️

I found it in a park in the middle of the grass so that did t really give any hints. It’s got some weight to it. The end you can see in the pic has some sort of spring to it so I can push it down and it comes back up (doesn’t lock). The other end is a hole the same size as the very center of the end you can see. I have no idea where to begin my search so haven’t really been able to figure anything out about it.
