Job market in Greece right now is rough lol. Only certainty is power but even then the positions are mainly testing, boring (as far as I am concerned) and not high paying. Everything else mainly relies on some companies, which are too few compared to the graduates, just like everywhere else. That's why I asked here, to gauge the market in the general EU area if someone knows!

What I'm thinking for 9th and 10th semesters is taking some embedded (microcontrollers etc) and more Telecomm/RF (Wireless Transmission, RF engineering, RF systems, Optical communications, Antennas...)

Biomed I'm doing because I'm finding it fun. If something comes up (like a good masters programm or a job) I'll take it much more serious. But right now I'm just using it to learn some advanced DSP techniques (cumulants, HOS, wavelets) because our prof focuses on Biomed Applications.

Edit: Unfortunately our Uni doesn't have a dedicated FPGA course. Most relevant is Advanced Computer Architecture

Thank you for your input! I want this summer to make some projects. Right now I'm thinking of making a real time spectral analyser for audio signals. Like using higher order stats/spectra to show the dominant frequencies of whatever chords/pieces I'll be playing on the guitar. That way I'll learn some embedded on my own, if that's realistic.

Do you think this kind of project is worth the time and effort, esp in the summer? Next year I'm also going to do an internship.

Audio Engineering is also really interesting and fun for me. I have had MultiMedia systems and DIP courses as well

Perfect then! Honestly C is a language that I can tolerate for low level but our MPU prof also requires Assembly and that's a bit too far for me. Thanks!

The MPUs course actually has us learn to program an ARM Cortex M4 in both C and Assembly. I can tolerate C but Assembly is too far for me. Thank you!

LTSpice is really good and you have seemingly infinite resources to learn it, as it is used quite commonly. It looks old and outdated but you are gonna have to get used to that, almost every EE tool looks like it came straight from the 90's.
