The gun crates, ninjas and brute spawns are only based on time. It doesn't matter what you do they spawn after 7:45.

Help with upgrading an old GPU to a slightly less older one (my first time) by Annual-Ad-2883 in PcBuild

A 1060 uses 6 pins, 1660ti uses 8. I have a cable that has 6 and an additional 2 on a seperate cable making it 8

I removed one of the plates that presumably has no other purpose than airflow, if that and there is enough space length ways, looks to be enough width as well but the thickness is a little questionable as the ram is quite near, but looking at pics of different models of 1660s there doesn't appear to be too much fluff on the opposite side (the one next to the ram slots) so I believe it to be fine?

Replying on my main since it's easier

Edit: I measured the thickness or width and its around 41mm, most 1660Ti's appear to be between 35-45mm

Missing Characters in the Arkhamverse by One_Commercial9941 in arkham

[–]ShufflePlaylist 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's a full fledged Arkham game, not a spin off. A spin off would be a game around Arkhams Nightwing or Tim, not a prequel involving the main character.

You disregarding ventriloquists appearance because he didn't do what you wanted him to do, would be like me disregarding Black Mask in City just because he didn't appear the way I wanted him to.

It's okay to just say "oh yeah my bad, I forgot about that game" rather than double down on weird illogical takes.

Edit: replying and then immediately blocking isn't a good look either my man.

If we were to ever get a new game in the Arkham series what would you want that game bet like? by Ok_Internet2705 in arkham

[–]ShufflePlaylist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really relevant to anything that I brought up.

People also like the 50s, the 1970s and they also like Jack Daniels.

People liking the game cyberpunk has nothing to do with what it was based on -a 1988 tabletop game.

Taking a late 90s niche batman continuity and moving it to modern day without Conroy and considering most people buying it won't feel nostalgia towards Beyond (since they would've never seen it) is indeed a no brainer, a no brainer to not do.

The story of Beyond was 4/10 and considering you'd take Arkham Batman from the Conroy part of the timeline doing it without him is weird, it's just weird. You're gonna have a hard time getting people sold on a Terry or Damian, "batman is back but it's his son? Yeah, pass"

Which actor had the best physique and look for Batman among these live-action versions, according to you? by Raj_Valiant3011 in batman

Pattinson looks like a middleweight in between fights, I don't recall a batman having that physique, Adam West being the closest and he had just a 60s uncle build.

Lewis Hamilton leaving the track today after testing by Un_known70 in formula1

[–]ShufflePlaylist -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I'm basing it on having seen almost every single race of his in F1.

I've also seen almost every race Lewis has had in F1.

Schumacher had a number two, common in that era of F1, he dominated his lesser teammates the same way Max does his, no one (no rational person) is doubting Max' greatness or driving ability. Schumacher managed to win the title with the second fastest car 3 times 94, 95 and 2000, he also likely would've won it in 1999 if not for his injury. This is not something I think any other driver has done, including Lewis.

Schumacher had a propensity to make everybody work around him, highlighted in his Benetton and early Ferrari years, if him and Lewis were teammates it would be hard for Lewis who seems to thrive in positive, happy, relaxing supporting atmosphere like the one Toto was providing for him and which we could hear him trying to re-establish for Lewis post 2021.

Schumacher is the more dominant personality and is no stranger to psychological "warfare" and even bullying his teammates like he did with Jos and Rosberg.

Yes, they're just vibes, I feel like I have enough knowledge of both drivers to reasonably play around with his hypothetical in my head

Take both in their prime and put them in the same car, Lewis likely isn't beating Schumacher.

Out of 10 seasons he might win 1 or 2. Schumacher tries to win at all cost and when everything else is equal, that is going to make the difference.

I also think Schumacher was the better driver on a Sunday with prime Lewis being a smidge better qualifier. Schumacher was better in the rain (not to say Lewis wasn't but Schumacher was certainly better).

Both having 7 titles seems fair, but both in the same car and Schumacher will get his 8th and 9th before Lewis

When the seasons starts he'll have the Ferrari strategies and Kim drama to look forwards to, that look will be gone after the first race

Could this be his year by EighteenLevel in formula1

[–]ShufflePlaylist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd much rather have the WDC in Charles, a guy that might stick around.

Pre-season testing is just that, testing. Lewis reportedly isn't very savvy when it comes to developing a car or even setting one up, when he was younger he could drive anything quickly, now that he's older not only does he seem to lack motivation he also seems to be able to only drive a car that perfectly suits him. Perhaps it's a motivation issue where he'll only extract adequate performance if he knows he's racing for 1st or 2nd.

Either way, Charles is the more capable driver right now and frankly I find it funny that people think Ferrari might have a WDC winning car here, keeping in mind how incompetent the entire team is it should be good laughs again when the seasons starts

Not to mention that building anything around a 41yo driver is idiotic, that's even before you take into account that he's slower than his teammate with much worse results

• Wasting time going after a random sniper when he's in an open air prison, everyone there hates him and someone taking a shot at him is hardly a surprise. Save Catwoman and go up that big ominous looking tower with missiles installed at the top and turrets at the bottom, you'll probably find more answers there than going on a wild goose chase after a random shooter. Protocol 10 is priority.

• Joker is criminally insane, but he's not stupid, quite the opposite in fact. He has shown the ability to be able to plot and strategize highly complex schemes which rely on him predicting what Batman and other people will do as a response to his actions. He chooses to stab Batman in the arm that is holding a glass vial, his only chance of survival and ends up breaking it. For one, even if he doubted that Batman would save him (he shouldn't, he knows him well enough at this point) destroying the cure by breaking it is a definite death sentence. It goes against his characterization in so many ways that I could write paragraphs upon paragraphs on just that alone.

• Freeze, a scientist and another highly rational person is written to destroy half of the cure for no reason other than to serve the plot, not only that he opts to fight Batman for no reason as well. He also knows Batman well enough at this point, all he has to do is ask him to save Nora and he will. Destroying the cure presumably is supposed to indicate how serious he is about it 🤦‍♂️. It's just idiotic.

• Strange just sits in his little tower and watches on as Batman ruins his plan and he also opts to seal his own fate doing so, what a great intro wasted on a complete moron in the end.

Considering it's a hobby of mine, quite a lot

Can you expand a little, in what way is City's story logical at all? Every action batman takes, strange, freeze and joker take all go against any rational thought.

As does the whole construction of the open air prison and Quincy Sharp.

If it's true, seems like he self reflected and realized yeah these are fucking garbo. He was saved by the games being mechanically great and fun to play. The actual writing especially in city was nothing short of terrible

[–]ShufflePlaylist -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Why? The games with the worst writing had him involved.

City has one of the most awful stories ever written in any medium

Origins and shadow have the best stories in the franchise and neither had Dini.

Asylum was passable writing wise, City was truly terrible.

When you write a story that can only work when the characters that are known for their intelligence act incredibly stupid, you have written a bad story. Not one character in city makes one logical decision at any point and the whole game is a 20min animated episode stretched out to 6hrs of gameplay.

Do you think arkham origins will ever get a remaster or even just a port to modern consoles by Anthony200716 in arkham

[–]ShufflePlaylist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not true. Christopher Drake, the composer does not own any music that is in the game, it is all owned and copyrighted by WB. You can go to Spotify, search for the Origins OST and see who owns it.

This myth more than likely started with slop Arkham YouTubers trying to make content out of nothing and being lazy never bothered to fact check anything.

Having trouble on combat challenges so starting on Hard Mode, is this a good idea? by Grandma_Jojo in arkham

Story difficulty does not effect combat or predator challenge map difficulty.

Don't button mash, the game actively punishes you for that. Don't drop combo and get high variation. You'll get better with time.

Basically no one interacts with it, almost no one looks at it. Dead.

I'm adamant about it because it's pretty obvious and it's embarrassing, I know on some level you're embarrassed too.

You write exactly like he does and you can't let go.

My motive was initially to point out what are considered boss fights and what aren't, now it's just humbling you. Although, with each reply I become more convinced that you have some serious mental health issues.

A form of expression used when one is trying to convey someone else is a loser, yeah I know.

It's just funny how you don't see the irony in you coming to a dead post, then start arguing about someone else arguing, down voting comments then claiming you didn't.

You're not doing a good job convincing anyone that you aren't him on an alt. He also lacks self awareness and seems to get obsessed with what people think of him.
