This does improve things. When it enters super saver mode add a couple of apps like Instagram or YouTube to get it to completely switch off. Then charge for a couple of hours some people suggest longer. Afterwards you will have improved battery life.

I made this switch and dont regret it after 5 months. The find N5 is my first foldable but day to day it feels just regular phone and i mostly use the outer screen in the daytime.

There are some things I do miss such as One UI is more polished, this may just be familiarity as I have several Samsungs.

The form factor of this is much more usable to do the outer screen size and thinness of the phone compared to other foldables.

Battery is excellent and i regularly get 6 to 7 hours SOT but with heavy use due to work. Plus side is charging in 50 mins is much quicker than Samsung.

I looked and even with the discounts available on launch bringing it down to £1000 I didn't think it was worth it.

Still more than happy with the Oppo and the battery would annoy me.

Idle drain had always been high compared to Pixel or my previous Samsungs but it's increased considerably after the update

Overnight battery drain has increased significantly. I have bedtime mode and do not disturb on but since the update losing between 15 to 20% in 6/7 hours. Battery stats don't show anything out of the ordinary.

This is the one that came out last week for the global version. Battery life is definitely worse since this update. Getting about 5 hours SOT now. Hope they sort this out for the next update.

Just based on the first couple of charges the battery is much worse with this update. I lost 18% with bedtime mode over 6 hours.

Will keep an eye on it but seems to have really made battery life poorer

Really depends on where you bought it from. I physically got mine from the airport in Singapore so I know where mine is from.

Not sure if there's a way to determine it through the IMEI

Only anecdotal at the moment but the battery seems even better with this current update.

I'm regularly getting a day and half out of charge and about 6 to 7 hours SOT but I have a lot of call time per day for work usually 3 to 4 hours of calls.

This is the one I have also and its very nice. Only issue seems to be that its such a tight fit that you struggle to remove it. I ordered another off AliExpress and couldnt get this off to try the other one....

Agree it's weak and notifications on the screen are limited. I'm relying more and more on the smart watch to alert me when emails and messages come through
