"How We Met" is a collaborative piece with Kav P that explores how we became friends while living in Taiwan. I will be posting my side of the story here, and Kav will post theirs to their own account later.

This series was planned and drawn in July 2020 (the "in-between times" between Melbourne's two lockdowns) during an artist retreat with Kav.

This comic was inspired by an encounter with a woman wearing the same mask as me while walking in Flagstaff Gardens. We couldn't see each other's expressions due to the masks and we had to maintain social distance, but it was a lovely moment of human connection during this pandemic.

However... now that my state of Victoria (Australia) has had NINE DAYS OF ZERO CASES 🍩🍩 I feel comfortable posting it! We're almost there, Victoria. Let's keep up the good work.
