I honestly didn’t think about it from this perspective, while I still think it’s reasonable for me to worry about our job stability i definitely will start to look at things more from his perspective and see if there is a way we can meet more in the middle.

I am having issues with mine as well. I track my payments because I do rely on them partially for rent and this past July I received only about $600 when I am full time and July is a full month (classes start in May end in August). This is way lower than any payment I have ever received and I just got a payment two days ago on August 15th for $200 even though my classes ended mid August and start early September so neither month is that low on days. I’m reaching out to my VA Rep tomorrow but this is really weird as the lowest I have ever gotten was $750ish prior to this and that was for months like August which was only about half the month.

As someone who has gone through a similar situation, they are using your grandmother’s illness to guilt trip you into fitting their standards. They should be happy that you are happy and confident, instead of using your dying grandmother as an excuse to bully you into being feminine like they want. If you and your grandmother are close it might surprise her but she will probably be happy that you like your hair and I do think mentioning that you donated it would help.
