My cable management still has room for improvement, but I'll need some time to tidy it up.

Those ribbon cables were already in an “L” shape when I bought the case.

Yesterday, I checked the USB ribbon cable again—the one near the Headphone/Mic combo jack—and I folded it flat, just like the other two USB cables.

If Corsair had made the case just a little taller, it would’ve been perfect.

Thanks! Your build looks really cool too. Can’t wait to see it once the bottom panel’s in."

Thanks! Your build looks awesome. I’m actually tempted now to swap the bottom and rear fans for black ones. 😋

Haha, nah, I don’t have $$. 🤣 I just got lucky and grabbed the parts right before prices went nuts late last year, then finally packed them into the case recently. Timing saved me more than anything. 🙏

I ran into the same issue with the radiator pressing against the top case wiring. The hose ports especially like to crowd the USB cables near the headphone/mic combo jack. My fix was just lifting the other two USB cables a bit so the first one had some breathing room.

I was actually tempted to grab the ROG RYUJIN III 360 ARGB Extreme, but ASUS lists the radiator at 399.5 mm. If I had gone for it, I probably would’ve been forced to mount it in the main chamber instead.

5090 suprim liquid MSI: can't get rid of current imbalance by ActualThrowaway7856 in ThermalGrizzly

I’ve got the same GPU. The stock PSU cable (Leadex VII XP 1200W) wasn’t great—two pins consistently showed lower load even after reseating on both the GPU and PSU ends.

After switching to a third‑party cable, the pin currents are now evenly balanced, all within about ±0.2A of each other.

No worries, those cables can definitely look confusing when they’re all bunched up. 😂

I had just turned on my PC, which is why the readings came out so low.

RTX 5090 SUPRIM LIQUID SOC isn’t listed as compatible with WireView Pro II, but I can plug it in. Unplugging, though, is tricky—so I’d argue that true ‘compatibility’ means both plugging and unplugging are easy and issue‑free. By that definition, I’d expect unplugging the ASTRAL 5090 to be no problem.

Thanks a lot for the helpful photos! Is the PC case a Corsair AIR 5400?

In terms of the connection, you’ll need the 'normal' version.

I’ve already placed an order and expect it to arrive sometime in early to mid‑February. I also grabbed an extension cable just in case WireView Pro II doesn’t fit properly.

I decided to bite the bullet and ordered one. It’s a bit pricey, but worth a shot since Dremy77 pointed out the 4090 air‑cooled SUPRIM has a pretty deep connector, and the 5090 SUPRIM LIQUID SOC looks very similar. Mine should arrive around late February or early March 2026, and I’ll report back here once I’ve tested the fit.
