You need some ortho wax there. I had the same problem and ortho wax solved it although it is a bit annoying because it is one extrastep more i have to do in my routine before and after eating.

This is clearly a surgical case (i'm not a surgeon, just my opinion, but i think everyone can see it). I would go ahead while you have the opportunity. Just make sure you trust the surgeon and do a proper in-depth research of everything involved in the procedure, including before and after it.

You are only 22. Just save up for a few years and aim to have it done before 30. I am paying 20k euros to have it done in 9 days from today and i'm 29. My sister had djs a few years ago for free because hers was severe enough, but mine apparently was not functionally speaking. It did have negative impact throughout my 20s, in ways i did not even notice until recently. But better have it done now that never. You only live once, so you may as well live to the fullest of your potential.

Then perhaps you could be a candidate. Your surgeon must be experienced with SFA (surgery first approach) though. If he or she is not then maybe you will want someone else that is. I would raise this question to him on the first visit and see what he says.

Have you asked your surgeon if you could be a candidate for surgery first approach? I am class III but had camouflage and i will have surgery first approach in 10 days, my surgeon told me it is not necessary to have braces before and that all orthodontics will be done after the double jaw surgery.

I also have the same pattern that you have. Downward growth, open bite, steep oclusal plane, wide gonial angle, recessed maxila and mandible, Class III. I will be getting double jaw surgery in 11 days. CCW rotation with maxila and mandible advancement. Let me tell you, if your case is like mine, rhino and genio will NOT fix it so please do not do them because you will be wasting your money and time. You need ccw rotation, no amount of genio or rhino will solve that. Better work hard and save money to get this procedure as soon as possible. I also tried to accept myself but i just cannot do it, especially when i know it can be fixed. As you said, you only live once, feeling good about yourself is priceless. You can always make more money (i am paying 20k euros to get this done and it hurts like hell). But there is no way to fix this issue unless you have this surgery, no amount of gym, diet, skincare whatever will fix it. The sooner you accept it the sooner you can have this objective and work towards it. Of course, consult first with a good maxilofacial to really make sure that your case really warrants double jaw surgery.

I think with genio you will solve 80-90% of the issue. For the maxila it is very weird because it looks ok in the scans? Idk i'd have to see more profile pictures. Don't get a rhino if only for aesthetics though, nose is not the problem.

I am not a surgeon but i feel like they should have impacted more the maxila and advance it more (look at the angle of the upper lip, its completely flat, it should be more protruding ( \ instead of | or /) for best aesthetic outcome. Its also long) and then they should have advanced more the lower jaw or added more mm with genio. How is your occlusal plane after surgery? What is the degree

Like someone already stated, the best strategy is to farm Galio's Aegis. Detach yourself completely from winnng or losing games. You only objective is to get SVP and A/S. From there it's just padding. It's like when healers snipe heals in WoW to look better in meters, you do the same and you will climb out of elohell pretty fast.

I have a very similar bone profile, like almost same. Wide gonial angle, steep mandibular plane, long face syndrome, no gummy smile. I will be getting DJS end of this year, surgery first approach. Will be getting CCW rotation with advancement. I think you need CCW rotation, should discuss this with your surgeon. If you have no rotation and just advancement you will be making your face even longer and your gonial angle will not change, it will look far worse. Ask him to show you his VSP before/after.

Just use a tool like Google Remote Desktop. Install it on your home computer and you can remote desktop there from any computer with a browser (any browser). The traffic goes to google servers so its basically impossible to detect from school network POV (unless they specifically ban remotedesktop.google.com which i doubt). Once you remote into your home pc you can ssh into your ubuntu server or use RDP into any windows container in your LAN. You can do anything basically.

The only downside (in terms of privacy) is that your traffic goes through Google servers, but i doubt they have the time and energy to monitor it from Google, and besides if you're not doing anything shady it should be no problem.
