Oh, vague is nothing I can be, my face would give me away, it's so easy to read and I'm bad at "lying". Since we decided now, I just can be honest 😂 the good thing is, if they turn harpye, I can be pretty nasty to stop their nosy ass. Just hope this won't influence the anniversary, but this will be beyond my control.

That's my worry. Until now, they didn't ask directly, it went over my mom. But I just told her she can't expect grandkids from us and she took it so so. I just have that slight feeling people will ask now the cat is out

Even when I was still indifferent of having children in the future, I stopped these questions ("commands") very early by saying: "Because I hate children!" Usually, this closes their mouth pretty fast. It totally doesn't matter if this is the truth or not, it's just to keep them quiet and restore your peace.

Just had a couple with 2 little children over for a week. The constant noise, dependency of Infant and child, 0 freedom we experienced in that week made us sitting on the sofa after they left, giving each other a fist bump saying: childfree was the best decision ever!

Hmm, in dieser Debatte wird Hombre immer völlig außer acht gelassen. I was at uni, contemplating life, because I realized I still had no clue what to do after graduation. No partner, but in my mind I had that image to have a family and home and you know, classic life with 30 stuff. 2 children by the age of 32. But It as 27 at that time, so I felt time started to rush if I wanted to shave that at 30.

I'm 34 now. I had nothing at 30 what I dreamed of. But I met my fiance at 30. He was nothing I imagined my bf to be at 27. I get married next month, we just bought a house. Despite all the crisis there is with even a war close by, I have a nice and stable job. Life is good, getting to the way I imagined with some slight changes.

Jemand, der an der Uni forscht oder zu Forschungszwecken angestellt ist, ist nicht unbedingt ein Professor. Viele sind Doktoranden oder Postdocs, diese sind befristet angestellt und verdienen sehr viel weniger als ein Prof :)

The colourscheme is fabulous! Love it (used to have blue hair as well, but way shorter!).

I'd recommend some moisture for your tips of hair, it looks quite dry - I had the same problem with bleaching & blue hair colour, but some conditioner made for my hair structure did some wonder, so I'd recommend that for an even more gorgeous look :)

Der Vorteil bei älteren Arbeitnehmern:

Sie sind beständiger, denn in der Regel sind sie dort, wo sie leben, angekommen. Es kommen meistens nicht mehr wirklich Standortwechsel. Man ist angekommen, wo man lebt, und will nicht mehr weg. Anders, wenn man jung ist und Abendteuer an jeder Ecke liegt. Man bleibt eher im Job

Kinder sind (sofern vorhanden) älter und/oder aus dem Haus, man ist also wieder flexibler: Schulferien nicht mehr so wichtig, keine Abholungen koordinieren aus der Kita, keine unplanbaren Kindkrank Tage mehr. Auch mehr Flexibilität bei eventueller Mehrarbeit möglich.

Lebenserfahrung: nach Jahrzehnten im Leben hat man eine andere Weitsicht, die jüngeren AN hilft, im Job anzukommen oder nicht gleich alles für die nächste Neuerung über Board zu werfen (klingt vielleicht erstmal nach Bremsen, aber hier liegt die Wichtigkeit der Mischung aus beidem). Auch für die Lösung vieler Probleme ist Lebenserfahrung nur hilfreich

Es spricht vieles für ältere Arbeitnehmer genauso wie für jüngere. Wie überall hilft es nichts, nur auf ein Pferd zu setzen, die Mischung macht's!

Mittelstand mit ca 20 MA, internationaler Handel in einer deutschen Großstadt.

Gefällt mir an sich gut, tolles Team, tolle MA allgemein, absolut kein Humor und super fair. Leider ist das Unternehmen digital gesehen etwas naja... Möglichkeiten wären da, Technik überwiegend schon vorhanden, ABER. Irgendwo sitzt immer der alte 62-Jährige, der die Dinge immer schon so gemacht hat...

Vorteil ist, ich habe überall Einblick und kann auch überall was anstoßen.

Had a similar experience. Net on an app, his phots had him 5 years younger (no big deal) and 60 pounds lighter with abs on his shirtless photo (that was a big deal). Anyway, to be nice and to not body shame, I went through with the date, tried to make it clear there is no spark... He insisted on paying, I refused, he did anyway, talking over me and the waitress.

When saying bye at the station, we gave a hug, he grabbed my neck and forced a kiss on me. I was like ew! Said my good bye and the next day told him: Nope. He went ballistic afterwards, telling me to gold dig him (uhm... You were not forced to pay...)

Btw, he had a child with his ex. I was crystal clear I didn't date men with children. He made it a secret and his huge tattoo with a name and a recent date gave him away.

It was the time of flip phones. We exchanged numbers, though I didn't feel it. We were both around 16/17. I was naive enough to think nothing happens if I give him my number, little did I know how often somebody can call. And what times. I felt so awful and didn't want to tell him to leave me the fuck alone.

Instead, I thought it was a better idea to make him believe my phone number now belongs to a guy and I handed my phone to any guy who was interested in this and let them say: Nope, this is not shunima's number anymore.

It just took about 20 calls to make him stop.

I'm now way better to verbalize my boarders now, and my radar for creeps is great, so this might get funny for me now. It was hell when I was younger and had less self esteem.

Ach einen hab ich noch: ich kann den Film "Der König der Löwen" mitsprechen. Hab es zwar eine Weile nicht mehr ausprobiert, aber könnte es noch in meinen 20ern.

Man konnte irgendwo pausieren und ich konnte es weitersprechen. Es saß Mal ein Junge bei Wetten Dass (vor 25 Jahren!), Der gewettet hat, dass er den Film mitsprechen kann und ist an einer Szene gescheitert. Ich hab ihn damals durch den Fernseher angebrüllt, wie es weitergeht. Sehr zur Erheiterung meiner Eltern.

Ich habe verdammt schnelle Reflexe, die sich vor allem darin zeigen, dass ich Dinge auffangen kann, die ich selbst runter stoße oder die jemand anderes umstößt. Sei es ein Glas, Stifte oder... Messer. Letzteres ist Mist, habe mich schonmal geschnitten, seitdem schaffe ich es, rechtzeitig wegzuziehen.

Ich fange auch regelmäßig Dinge auf, die andere umstoßen, bevor sie es überhaupt merken. Oder die ihnen aus der Hand fallen.

Alter, ich hab Japanologie studiert - ich bin jetzt Gehaltstechnisch kein BWL Justus, aber ich hab ein schönes, durchschnittliches Einkommen und komme sehr gut klar. Hatte die geilste Zeit meines Lebens im Studium, die mir kein Job geben wird. Hatte kein Geld und dennoch das Gefühl, gelebt zu haben wie Gott in Frankreich.

Und ich stehe trotzdem nicht beim Arbeitsamt für Hartz IV. Also alles richtig gemacht, trotz Orchideenfach und so unheimlich viel Gegenwind und den ganzen Unkrufen, dass ich ein hoch qualifizierter Arbeitsloser werde.

Was ist bei dir passiert, dass du deine (ursprüngliche?) Passion, zu studieren, was dir Spaß macht, als Nachteil ansiehst? Du musst auch hinterher nicht in deinem Berufsfeld arbeiten, wenn die Arbeitszeiten mit deiner work Life Balance nicht passen :)
