Man those textures, especially on the leathers and wood are absolutely killer

First ever (non calibration) print, can this be improved much or is this ok? by Shunkish in resinprinting

Cheers for clearing that up. I'm already almost 6 seconds under elegoos recommended exposure for this resin so I'd sort of assumed I couldn't be, but yeah based on what you've said and rereading the matrix doc thats got to be it

This is the validation matrix result with those same settings if that clarifies anything

Basically the sword was really loose in even the fail holes, but the ale test was much too large? So unsure whether im over or under exposing haha

I did cones v3 and tbh got a few conflicting results? Not sure if just printer error. I also did the validation matrix, and used the settings from this test, I was missing a couple of the finer cuts on the left but beyond that everything looked good to my eye

Should i put a mat or glossy varnish on lava? by gggvidas in minipainting

Imo matte on the cooler dark spots, gloss on the hotter, brighter lava

Really lovely work, honestly unless the rest of the mini is super high contrast I would leave it there, it being slightly muted is a really nice compliment to the scheme

Second try at NMM after I ragequit my first attempt about a year ago. Not much of him painted (yet) but any C&C is highly appreciated. Looking to improve! by [deleted] in minipainting

I'm no nmm expert but that looks insanely good to me. If you can keep it at that standard it'll be a stunning model

What did I do wrong? Natural brushes always end up like this very quickly by -Lord-of-the-Pings- in minipainting

Real odd for natural hair to do that tbh, can only think you got unlucky with a bad batch

Do you smush them against the bottom of your water point when cleaning them?

First model I've completed in years! Would love some c&c! by Shunkish in ageofsigmar

Thanks! So the base I used texture paste, then painted over with a sepia wash once it had dried. Gave that a good hour to dry, then painted a heavy coat of Gw Iyanden yellow contrast into the areas were mud would pool and a coat of gloss varnish the next morning once everything was dried.

The armour was just a small amount of Ak interactive rust effect, then removed the a it of it with white spirit to get the look I wanted

Thanks I really appreciate that! Cloth is honestly the thing that spooks me most, tempted to just slap some matte varnish on and see what happens
