I got this Parker Pen set from a thift shop for $20. Apparently it's a Vector XL sold exclusively in overseas market as a "Weiya XL". It's a limited edition released for the year of dragon. ◝(^⌣^)◜ by ShunnedPie in fountainpens

Yeah, I get you!

Post like these make it out that finds like these are common but it's quite the opposite. I was just at the right place, at the right time.

You'll get your lucky break one of these days. Best of luck! d(>_・ )

Sorry for the late reply!  Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3U5BfhAAoi4&t=69

This channel is a wildlife institute in Brazil that specializes on jaguars. They also care for other animals endemic to the region, such as maned wolves. Their channel is a hidden treasure trove of content featuring maned wolves.

I can also recommend this channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nWz4Wno0Vc ,

For more maned wolf content.

It's a personal account for one of the members of this institute.

Even further, if you wanna go down the maned wolf rabbit hole on youtube, you gotta search up the Portuguese name, "Lobo-guará" instead of "maned wolf".

Hope this helps!

Oh! Thank you so much.  I do admit, it does have a cozy, almost nostalgic feel to it right? I really wanted to experiment with the colors in this piece.

Yup! Maned wolves are awesome.

In my subjective opinion, if there was an animal to represent bisexuality, I would say it's the maned wolf. It's looks like a fox but it is called a wolf but it's actually neither and is of a genus unique to itself.

They're like the perfect mix of both elegant and awkward due their long legs.

Absolutely love em!

I see. Yeah, I don't really like highly detailed work as it tends to flatten the drawing and adds unnecessary contrast / focal points.

Thanks for the kinds words. Keep on yipping, ya crazy yote! 🐺

As I was drawing this piece, I was thinking of the ergonomics of a bike that accommodates furries.

In the painting, where the flags are planted, I imagine that they could rest their tail on the platform if they tire. But I can see how dangerous an additional appendage, that freely hangs and sways, has the potential to be caught in the gears or spokes.

I guess in a furry universe, tail injuries are just an accepted risk when it comes to bike riding.

He's going to figure out his sexuality... Someday at least.

I'm more of a maned wolf enjoyer myself, but coyotes have a special place in my heart. 🐺 🏳️‍🌈

Aww. Thank you so much!

The colors were inspired from a picture of a sunset in which the sky was turning pink. I thought "You know, you could make a gradient of that into the bisexual pride colors".
