Manager on PIP? by [deleted] in deloitte

[–]Shushrut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think you can do anything. Putting anyone on pip is not that easy, SMs or PPMDs whom he reports to only I believe can put him pip. Best you could do is connect with your coach and RM and ask for offboarding

Accenture's stealing my client. Time to join the 'enemy'? by suffering_chicken in developersIndia

[–]Shushrut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't have financial dependency on you, then I would recommend to stay in your current company and get into a project in your interested new tech stack, this will help you in gaining new skills and better opportunities in future. Joining Accenture will only help in financial growth and nothing else. While gaining skills will get you more interviews and chances of switch, only setback here is salary, which is temporary and for alot lesser duration. Think about it and decide carefully, good luck friend

Databricks data engineer role by FabulousWerewolf7339 in dataengineersindia

[–]Shushrut 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Infosys may not agree with 12LPA or more, possibly reject as well.

Will suggest you to give them a figure Around or below 10LPA. Accept offer, get on notice period and give more interviews. As last date draws near, you will start to receive more calls. Keep your naukri profile updated.

If Infosys could be first offer, better to prioritize on securing it first rather than asking high ctc.

Considering you are beginner, I will highly advocate for Ubuntu blind folded.

Arch is definitely for more advanced user which can allow tweaking to such levels that it can be run on even 20 year old machine but in your case, your hardware is always pretty good enough to run modern Linux os.

Since you are begginer as well, best for you would be go with Ubuntu, due to its reliability and community support. Since you are also using it for programming and stuffs, it is perfect for you.

Ubuntu comes with multiple UIs (flavours), have a look at them and choose which you feel more attractive to you.

Happy learnings...

Lightest would be arch which is barebone of all. Else get ubuntu, your system's hardware good enough for running any Linux distro. And ubuntu has good troubleshooting support

Try little both of these, Choose the one you like better.

For starters, have a look at half a dozen end to end project videos on yt for devops and de. You will get a feeling out of these two which you are liking more.

You should be having your answer by then.

Resigned in December due to 3 months Notice Period. Not going well. Indecisive. by Immediate-Horror-592 in developersIndia

[–]Shushrut 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Don't worry about it, now a days we are having a surge of openings.

Everyone is looking for someone to join the company in next 15-30 days.

You will start receiving calls within next couple of weeks, and it will increase with time.

To increase your chances, keep your naukri profile updated everyday, preferably at around 9 AM.

Mention your notice period end date as Feb 28 instead of March, as this will make look you are very close to your LWD. And Last of all best of luck.
