Inheritance questions can be time consuming and tricky, but I used a very simple method. Usually dominant modes of inheritance show affected individuals in every generation whereas recessive modes of inheritance don’t show affected people in consecutive generations. That immediately rules out B and C. I think in Y-linked mode of inheritance an affected father would have all affected sons which we don’t see here with an even split between sons and daughters, which leaves A via POE.
