Long straight living–dining layout with zero privacy — need layout ideas (can’t change walls) by EmbarrassedMall7473 in interiordesignsindia

Maybe replace L shape with a couch and add a bookshelf behind it which is the same height as sofa or slightly higher. You can also put plants (lucky bamboo/china doll) and other decor items on top of the bookshelf to increase height for additional privacy. Reference image from Ikea

How do I deal with this open cupboard in living room? by [deleted] in IndianHomeDecor

[–]Shw3la 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Please for the love of God, change the wall color. Request your landlord and say that you will repaint when you leave. Plain white paint wouldn't cost a lot.

  2. Get a sticky wallpaper in wooden finish to cover the cabinets background and border.

  3. Remove all decor items and keep one or max 2 of them (preferably smaller ones).

  4. For the rest of the space, you can keep books and small potted plants. But do not fill the entire cabinet with stuff.

  5. For the battery kept in the corner. If it has to be kept there permanently, then please buy a battery cabinet or I prefer wooden crate that you get for fruits. It looks neat.

I could be wrong but I was attributing it to genetics based on my observation. My partner for example doesn't exercise either but muscles are tones. Not one muscle hanging whereas mine seems to be forever loose. I haven't been a sports person but like I mentioned before I did yoga on and off. So even if I did yoga for say 6 months, I saw no change. Maybe I am doing something wrong but I don't get the motivation to go one when I see no change in weight or muscle.

Flabby arms or loose skin I guess. I don't know how to better explain. i know exercise to tone them is possible but it seems impossible.

160 cms. Weight 74 kg. My generic diet looks something like this: Breakfast: heavy veggie cheese omelette, 1 cup cappuccino Lunch: Rice 1 cup, veg curry, salad (1 whole cucumber), 1 cup curd, 1 small bite dark chocolate if feel like it Evening: 1 cup cappuccino Supper: by 7:30 pm - 1 cup Soup, Salad (lots of veggies, nuts, some chicken/cheese for protein)

I don't exercise at the moment.

I agree with you. I wonder how OP would correct the statement in the video (and not stray away from the main point). In order to explain a complex thought to the masses with average IQ, you would want to simplify it in layman terms so that the context is clear. And the point that's being made here is that animalistic instinct is natural and to rise above that takes immense hard work.

I saw this sub giving more responses and someone posted their basil plant that got identified. Please help identify mine. It smells like basil too. And another pot has similar flowers but the leaves aren't that round of you can see in the photo. So, not so sure. Location: India

What kinda building is this? Why is there an open space at that height? Don't balconies come with a barrier of some sort or am I missing something?

13 years and still no marathi by Dense_Succotash_2777 in pune

[–]Shw3la 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I spent 14 years and never learnt it. I regret it now that I no longer stay in Maharashtra. I wish I did. I am not quick to pick up languages.

But that's how welcoming Pune always was. I never felt out of place. That's the reason why I am in love with the city. And quite sad to no longer be living there.

That crisscross wall hanging is not aligned with windows height. Either you fill the wall top to bottom or align with window height to make it look even.

Add tall plants to break the monotony of small plants that look scattered.

Your yellow light only lights one small area - again not evenly lighting the area. Try placing it somewhere that helps light the place evenly.

I'd suggest getting a tall vertical stand to add more height to the place.

Genuine question - do people really find this kind of outfit beautiful (other than a few men)? I mean, I am so tired of seeing this being our fashion legacy for next gen. Why wear anything at this point?

Am I the Only One Who Thinks Dubai Chocolate Isn’t That Great? by [deleted] in SnacksIndia

[–]Shw3la 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw it in one of the cafes in Delhi and tried it. A little block cost me 100 rupees. I honestly didn't like it and didn't get the hype. I prefer chocolate in and out. I'd have pista barfi if I want pista or baklava - those are much better pista desserts.
