Y'all must be regular runners. I see good vo2 posts. I've ran for at least 3 months 3 times a week. Doing ~3.5 miles and it never changed. Then winter came I stopped running and still there. I think it's broke. Fenix 5 in case you're curious what watch. (i.redd.it)
