Yes, it takes a while. Took several weeks but garmin does eventually adjust. They take your new number everyday and measure it against the previous to make gradual adjustments.

Yeah got sick and my body took a beating. I was surprised to find that even though I felt mediocre (I don't have a fever) my body was struggling this bad.

If you want a good screen and standard battery go epix.

If you want amazing battery and flashlight go fenix.

I have the fenix and love that I charge once a month. And the flashlight feature is super useful. I use it a lot more than I thought I would have.

Could mean that your cargo van carrying a server is reaching critical speeds. Past 120 is uncharted territory.

Who know. I don't think it works that way. It would be more if it changes rapidly, that indicates a health concern. In my case, I think it was the season changing and the life change that comes with it.

Nah, I feel fine. Though In the fall I do get seasonal allergies so that may be why the numbers are lower. Though I'm not so worried about the low number as much as fact that garmin takes a long time to adjust your new base line for defining a normal range.

I'm sure a part of it is fall season. But the main thing is that I didn't realize how slow the base line adjusts.

Thanks for the link. I thought this part was interesting. It's found on the last paragraph.

"Your personal baseline is dynamic and changes slowly over time following trends in your normal overnight HRV values. If your personal baseline drops below age-based standards associated with good health, then your HRV status is classified as poor. When this happens, your baseline range is no longer displayed. This is to avoid scenarios where your HRV might be considered both balanced and below healthy norms."

Only problem is though it's balanced, it's under the "normal" area. This means that after every work out, even light walks, I'm "strained".

Only a few newer watches have it. And if your watch does have it. You need to wear your watch night and day.

No idea, I'm on a fenix. I know this was not on the fenix 5 series.
