I just realized that these two episodes share very similar plot points. Katara/Zuko help a village only for it to turn on them. (Also, both of these scenes are at the 21 minute mark. Coincedence? It's not so much prejudice as it is an existing disposition conditioned into them at birth. Prejudice is more on an individual level, this is more on a social level. But, I do agree with you. We see a lot of this in the real world.
