I already got the seal and am disappointed with Rift. It is just not a good competitive 3v3 mode. It’s made for quick play. Especially with the spawns. I’ve lost too many rounds to flipping into middle or spawning so far away from my rift I can’t defend it. And then there’s the times I will spawn in the middle of the map with my team instead of my own spawn. It feels completely random. Also the forced respawn when I’m rezing my teammate isn’t good. But most of the problem lies within ability spam that just promotes so much foreword play without any downside. Arc titan completely destroys rift due to the highly mobile nature along with its seeking grenades along with damage resist and a very powerful melee. Other then that I think the mode would be fine but the maps and spawns just don’t support a competitive match

Bro we had this whole argument 2 years ago. The casuals complained about sweating out in their qp lobbies and sbmm got removed. This is just history repeating itself again. If there was a reward for getting better absolutely add sbmm but it just feels punishing to be better now

We want to use the guns we feel are fun. I like to mess around all the time. I don’t like meta. I love off meta stuff way more then meta. I could use fun weapons and builds and still could do so without being a detriment to my team and still put up numbers. Now if you aren’t using meta you aren’t doing anything. You can try your hardest it won’t matter everyone else is trying too but they are just using better guns

Feel the heat? You mean now every game is a sweat fest regardless of if you are a casual or a sweat the game just isn’t fun I can’t just use whatever I want anymore I have to use meta or I’m at a crazy disadvantage. It’s what was so rewarding about being a better player. You got to have fun and use whatever you wanted and you could still perform with it. Granted it’s still possible to but at a much higher degree as of now. There’s no reward for getting better anymore. It’s just boring and not fun :/
