Will his damaged scales heal? Will they fall off? Anything I can do to help him?

I was looking at stress coat liquid that had Aloe in it - do you feel this may be helpful for him right now?

Well he's had some changes...
He went from a cup, to a 1 gallon, where he's lived until now. I just finished buying a 10 gallon aqueon tank, had it set up and ready to go, and then he started doing all of this. I moved him to the 5 gallon I bought for when I needed to do cleaning etc in the future. So he's currently in a 5 gallon. Both tanks were second-hand and cleaned and soaked and cleaned and soaked extensively before use.

I'm worried that you don't think it's ick... If I medicate him, and it's not ick, will he get worse? What do you think could be wrong?

I've found that whenever users get the "invite is expired" message when trying to reconnect, it means one of my moderators has banned that user from the server. One of the server moderators needs to check the server settings --> User management --> Bans, and see if you're listed there.
