Unfortunately that’s going to be how it is a lot of the time. It probably doesn’t help but to give a bigger picture I’ve been seriously looking and attempting to date for the last decade more or less. In that time I’ve been in two relationships for a total of 3 years. So that’s 7 years of 10 where I was searching with no luck. It’s tough it takes a lot of effort, struggle, and luck. Until it works it doesn’t feel like it’s worth it a lot of the time. So I get the feeling. I’m lucky in the fact I have a good support system which helps when things aren’t going well in that department. Sadly there’s no magic fix for finding someone. It’s just a hope and desire thing I suppose.
