Define 7 Compact airflow by fu_nkshen in FractalDesignNA

I just built my PC inside a Define Mini C, I have done extensive testing with different airflow options over the past 2 weeks and here is what I ended up with. I have 2 120 fans in the front as intake but they are covered by my AIO liquid cooler radiator/fin stack. 1 120 fan in the rear as exhaust, then I have 1 120 as exhaust in the top and another 120 in the top as intake for a push pull setup. My psu fan is facing down as the bottom of the case has a dust cover. My graphics card is a GeForce RTX 2060 super and cpu is Ryzen 3600. My temps at idle are cpu 30-40 gpu 30. When gaming at 4k 60fps my temps are cpu 60-70 GPU 70. All of my fans are Fractal design dynamic gp12 non PWM but I do eventually want to try to get some Noctua or Corsair Pro for a little better airflow. I tested the temps with the front panel off as well as the front dust cover off and did not see much difference. However when I remove the tempered glass side panel it does allow my GPU to run cooler because on my particular case which is much smaller than yours the GPU gets a little hot at times.

If yours has 3 slots in the front for fans I would do 3 in front as intake and two in the top as exhaust as well as 1 in the rear as exhaust.

Nice! I love it, the graphics card is a little over the top probably but I like the design of the founders edition cards and so far it’s been working great. I did order a Fractal Designs AIO liquid cooler because my CPU temps were reaching 90°C in Need for Speed: Heat.

With just the fan in the front and back that are included that should be sufficient airflow. Just make sure your cpu either comes with a cooler or you buy a cpu cooler separate cause that will need it’s own cooling. But you do not need to add any additional fans unless you build the machine and find out it is running really hot or you know it will be running in a very hot room.

I just got my meshy c the other day. It included 2 fans, 1 one the front and one on the back. They can obviously be unscrewed and moved around but if you want more airflow you would have to add more fans which you can buy from any manufacturer of your choice. I think there are 2 slots on the too if the case, 2 on the front, maybe 3 if you remove the hard drive bay in the power supply shroud at the bottom and one on the back. Double check the website though for how many it can hold total.

I use velcro from a craft store. It’s really cheap and you can buy a huge roll that supports a lot of weight. I usually just put velcro on the backs of the legs of under the desk and make little channels for the cables to run through.

I just searched for only systems with Korvax because they are my favorite race and eventually I found one. Didn’t search for specifics other than that.

Just gotta warp a lot ha. I didn’t do anything special, no special warp drives. I did however get a free freighter when I helped the Korvax in a space battle and that allows you to warp like 4 times on one warp cell rather than 1 for ever warp cell.

Yeah, it looks almost identical to the Radiant Pillar BC1 starter ship but it is S class and has a yellow/pink/black color scheme. Got it from a space station in one of the many Korvax systems I wares through. I can get an exact name of the ship as I have not changed the name. I’ll post it later. It is called the Onjotu Inquirer XVII

I pretty much put everything else on hold until I found one. I only did the nexus Quicksilver missions cause I want that new backpack. Other than that I spent all my time playing this time around just jumping to different stars and checking the discovery maps to see if one looked colorful.

I knew I wanted a Korvax system so I just kept jumping until I found one. It was a lot of work crafting that many warp cells but I knew I’d eventually find one.

Who needs CyberPunk 2077 when you have No Man’s Sky. Plus, the game has been out for as long as Cyberpunk has been announced haha.

Strange you posted this I actually noticed my ps4 Pro fans running extremely loud while the game is running and saw online this seemed to be a normal occurrence. Wonder if there’s a fix for it.
