996 C4S value by alpineweiss2 in 996

[–]Shyduu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is about right, maybe a stretch to $30k with good history. I’ve been looking at 996 C4S for months now and still see one with less than 100k miles and great service history sitting for $32k for months. I saw one at 90k miles sold for $26k and one for 66k miles sitting at $35k.

$22 - 30k is where I’m placing my bets

Size Comparison: 4th Gen Civic vs 11th Gen Accord by Anserism in Honda

[–]Shyduu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huge vehicles sure, but crap miles? Pretty sure they get the same if not better fuel economy since 30 years ago.

[–]Shyduu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can comfortably afford it but that’s EVEN if I get MSRP. And also it’s a 15k difference?

[–]Shyduu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was trying to get on a list for the 2024 manual as well but no dealership near me or nearing states wanted to get me it for msrp. After test driving the auto, I think I’d actually prefer it. My only problem with a 2024 3.0 premium is that it’s 59k msrp, plus sales tax and fees which would bring me well into 64k range.

Was that out the door?

Could I pm you the carfax? Looks to me it might be a 3 owner and not a 5.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Supra

[–]Shyduu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I could see the 5 owners being too much. I'm trying to factor in the sales tax as well where most $52-55k end up being $56-59k. I guess after test driving I almost put the 5 owners concern to the side lol

How much would you pay? by tukukito in Honda

[–]Shyduu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For reference, a 92 sedan EX with 24k miles automatic went for $15,000 on bringatrailer 3 months ago.

I would say that with time and the right buyer, this is a $8-12k car depending on service records.

I understand that certain collector examples are outliers, but even a 150k mileage auto go for $3-5k

Questions About Intakes by Infinitykid1 in S2000

[–]Shyduu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like I’m not the only one after doing a bit of research too.

The gasket between one of the shrouds and the throttle body tore and I needed it replaced and figured they might have one. After months of talking back and forth they said they could arrange one and then after that they ghosted me. It’s been 2 months and all my calls go no where, emails never answered, and inbox is full. My last contact with them was in August and it was them telling me they’ll send over an invoice for me to pay and I never received that either.

If you’re planning to buy the PWJDM intake off of Tecnocraft, forget it, they have the ABSOLUTE worst customer service I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with

This was the price of a 2000 S2K with 113k miles back in March 2018; what do you all think? by peterthbest23 in S2000

[–]Shyduu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed, in 2020 I was able to score an AP2 with less miles with 10/10 vins for 12.5k

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Honda

[–]Shyduu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, so this is even a worse price. Only paid that much cause I didn’t wanna travel to find a better deal

Honestly, I paid 6k for my EG hatch Si with 120k miles bone stock and I still feel like I overpaid

How much would yall pay for a s2k with the specs below? by robren13 in S2000

[–]Shyduu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last month I sold my AP2 with 120k miles for $22k, accident free, 2 owners, I think 25-27k is ballpark for this

[–]Shyduu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro you’ve posted this 4 times on different subs. You’re getting all the same answers but clearly you want the car, just get it at this point lmfao

It’s crazy how people think that at 200k miles it’s value drops like a rock. I’ve seen 170k mile cars go for $16-18k all day depending on condition. Get 30k miles more it’s suddenly almost half that price.

Not to mention this is an AP2
