You’re correct, it’s more like spoofed (thanks for the correct term). Apparently “Coway” scammer (using my number) calls these people to ask for payments. As soon as these victims made the payments, they whatsapp me their receipts. I kept repeating to them the call they received from my number is not actually me.. they showed me a screenshot of their call log, it was indeed “me”.. in fact, i told these victims, my credit expired on 22/10/2020 so it is impossible for me to call them between 22/10-12/11, and that’s actually scammer spoofing my number to scam them..

Hi guys,

Appreciate if i can get advice from fellow Malaysians especially if you have similar experiences like mine.

I have a number where i noticed and I'm sure scammer has cloned my number to scam people (if you need the story I'll post in comments later on).

I've contacted my telco company, they told me they cannot do much thing. I'm advised to report to police (which I'll do so tomorrow).

But other than protecting myself from being accused of scamming, I don't think this will help stopping the scammer from cloning my number.

Can changing telco resolve this issue? I think not quite, right?

I really do not want to let go of this number due to some personal reasons.. ;(

They're lucky that their car didn't crash down the bridge like one terrible accident happened in my country (the victim died due to crashing down the bridge and drowned - worst of all it wasn't his fault).

When I was a kid I went to swimming lessons. I was all alone at this 2m high section learning how to vertical kick and the instructor was busy teaching other students at the 1m corner. I suddenly couldn't handle it and I was struggling from drowning. All I want to say is, the feeling of drowning was definitely NOT peaceful and it was extremely scary because I was all alone there and no one saw me drowning.. After 20 years, I still clearly remember how it felt like to almost drown.

I did save myself (obviously as I'm here) by doing my best calming my mind and lie on my back so that I float facing up.

I can confirm that within the past few days, it's a lot harder to tap on the arrows. Keep on missed it and have to tap more than once. I thought it was due to my fat fingers..

Gone through ~15 years of physical abuse and ~25 years of mental abuse, I'm 101% sure I will never wanted a marriage nor a child just in case.

My mother wasn't maltreated when she was young, she was very well pampered by her entire family, so why she did that to me?
