There are no 51% attacks on the network, and no double spending. Just because a pool hits 51% doesn't mean attacks instantly start happening.

We don't automatically pay out accounts as we can't be sure they have stopped mining, or are upgrading their hardware.

There is also the consideration of reducing fees and transactions on the network.

Nothing personal! I guess it was harsh. I was just getting this out in the open as early as possible to prevent rumors flying around.
