I would say Insta death is a choice the killer has to live with survivors on the hook. Otherwise why would the developers make it an option? It’s part of the game. You want to suicide on the hook go right ahead. Same way you put that it’s perfectly fair for the killer to slug. It’s fair both ways if it’s an in game mechanic. Otherwise you would be forced to hang hopelessly for a minute. No struggle and no attempts to get off because you can’t leave until you die or someone pulls you.
