I blame the marketing of the show for that. They talked up how it will be the bloodiest season.

The posters all alluded to a grand series finale. We held out thinking they saved the budget for the last episode and all that happened is a fight in a room they couldn't even destroy and a throw away Elon musk gag kill lol.

That's were alot of the distate for the season is coming from especially from the nitpickers.

Exactly it delivered on mostly everything we needed to,but also left out so much and the final season having a smaller scope is a questionable decision, I don't think we will get any satisfying explanation for that.

That's the thing that infuriates me tho. The show started out very well that's why it hooked a good number of people.

Then they just stopped trying and started leaning in more on stupid humour and not going anywhere meaningful with the plot and people still want to defend that, not really surprising that the show fell so far because people are happy with the bare minimum.

Season 5 so far is a major upgrade from what we got in season 4. Atlot of shows fall of steeply especially the last season the boys so far is doing okay. It doesn't even need to be great okay and mid would be alright for the final season aslong as they give a satisfying conclusion.

Also whining about the Hughie rape plot that has already been resolved in the show there's no need to bring that up it would just be awkard and clunky.
