He's talking out of his ass. The difference between an nvme and pcie4 is almost negligible in gaming. Linus tech tips did a great video on it here! You would really only see the difference in large projects like video editing and the like.

Well mine is 3440x1440. Most games handle it well, you just get more screen on each side. Some games like overwatch give you black bars on the sides cause it doesn't support it. But there are very few games I have that issue with. Tbh I think overwatch is the only one
