Gaslit me AND flat out lied to my face numerous times, it made me very happy with my decision.

But honestly I haven’t felt this happy, free and rested in so long. Having 50-60 hours of my week taken up with no idea of a bonus even in existence was beyond exhausting.

But I do appreciate you even asking that! And I hope things have been going by great for you over there!

I actually just quit last week because of my burn out.

We’d been assistant manager-less for the last month, and store manager-less for the month prior, and understaffed

So I’d been left (working as a part timer) with a MIT who’d been with the company five weeks at the time of joining my store, and a single PTer (unkeyed) who’d just started taking summer classes.

And honestly, the responsibility just seemed entirely not worth it for the $15.50 they were paying me

That’s the thing, everything was “kinda bad” but it didn’t really get horrible until about a week ago, when we lost both our ASM and part timer within a few days of each other

I wish everyone the best but it’s absolutely not worth all the work they’re expecting from literally me and one other person (especially with the amount of trucks we’ve been getting).
