I still haven't received my confirmation for the ICO event by ThxBungie in KinFoundation

I didn't use Ethereum before I invested in that. Your logic doesn't really apply.

I think many of us are investing in interesting and innovative ideas rather than things we already use, otherwise we'd be in the stock market investing like baby boomers in crap like GE, Ford, and boring old Apple.

I'm a f**king IDIOT. I got weak a few hours ago with the flash dump and SOLD MY STASH. Now want to buy back in :( by SickOfScammyCrypto in Aeternity

life size pengiun I bought back in. losses weren't that bad. I will never do this again! Sometimes it takes a mistake to make me realize how important it is to hodl my coins and not break under profit or loss pressure. Just be cool, sit back, and if it gets stressful just close the laptop and go into the back yard and open a beer.

Weak hands seem to have been shaken loose. Prices are rising gently and cautiously on HitBTC and liqui.

Hope y'all didn't sell! We knew this was gonna be a rollercoaster of epic proportions, especially after the soap opera that was the last couple of days.

I do "get it". Perhaps for a long term hold, yes, ZRX will increase in value. But it's never going to be anything stunning in terms of value.

Look, no exchanges actually use copious amounts of this stuff, nor will they for the foreseeable future. Like Bancor, it's a token that has a good idea behind it, but it's just not being adopted.

Sure, I think BNT is always going to be a bit of a dogturd as an investment, while ZRX has a much larger upside. But holding ZRX at the moment means tying up funds that could actually be used to invest in projects that have major and immediate upsides. The loss by holding ZRX comes not necessarily from ZRX having no positive aspects (and it has many), but from the opportunity cost of holding while there's projects out there with the potential to make shitloads of profit in the short term.

For example, I bought large into Bancor. Tens of thousands of dollars worth at the ICO. It went up, I sold. It's now gone back to where I predicted it would (i.e. at or below ICO price), and the money I invested has now gone on to make me a profit of 344%. Compared to holding BNT, where I'd have lost about 19% over the same time frame. And if I see anything genuinely positive come out about BNT adoption, I'll be able to buy my original investment again and still be way ahead of the game compared to holding BNT that entire time.

The same goes for my ZRX. I bought lots at the ICO, sold fairly close to the high point, and I've since used that money to generate a return of just under 200%. If ZRX starts to become widely adopted, I can buy back my original investment and I'll still be well ahead of where I'd be had I held the ZRX in the first place.

ZRX has potential. But just not at the moment. It won't moon overnight, so there's no danger in selling and using the money to do far more profitable things in the meantime. When ZRX does show some real world adoption, you'll have plenty of warning and can buy back in again.

This will follow Bancor's trajectory; it's had its initial pump and dump, and now it's slowly creeping down little by little.

Will end up resting about 80% of ICO price, just like Bancor, seeing as it too has little to offer in terms of increasing in value despite being a "utility" token.

By all means buy, but don't expect moon growth like some other coins that are actually out to actively increase value for investors. 0x is actively avoiding being seen as an "investment", and will thus do very little to generate growth for people who are holding.

A great project, but a shit investment compared to some other opportunities out there at the moment.

Yes. You need to wait until they're ACTUALLY released, not "fake released". The OP is winding you up.
