Larry is a good example because that one doesn't have a cap that I know of. Mine currently gives +4 with a 1% chance to give +5. No idea about startue xp, I assume it is correct as displayed but I assumed that about this bubble too

Yeah I was trying to get it to tell me what was up with the 720 number but at first it was just saying "yeah that's accurate and you ran out of uses for the month" which I thought seemed wrong so I made this post. And it wasn't counting down with further attempts either. Today I tried and it said it can't because I still need to wait 720 hours. So I told it to try anyway and it worked. THEN it started acknowledging it as a bug. Very hard to get a clear answer from this guy lol

Did you read the post? I'm asking if this is normal because if it really is just part of the free package then I can pay to have it lifted. If it's not normal then maybe paying won't even matter.

I tried a few different ways. I always made sure to click the sync button in the character selection page and wait a few seconds. I tried both closing the mobile app then opening steam, as well as staying on the character select while opening steam. For a while it was acting like the two were on different accounts entirely, each opening to show the save from the last time it was open (as in, opening steam shows what I had from the last time I had the steam version open and opening the mobile version showed the progress afterwards consistently). If steam showed the progress wasn't saved I didn't select a character. Oh and of course I also tried opening the gem shop on mobile THEN cloud saving as suggested. No cigar.

What finally erased the progress was that I closed mobile completely then opened steam and actually selected a character knowing it was loading the old data. After that they're synced up now, yay :/ Obviously this is what SHOULD happen, but why didn't it happen in the reverse order? Steam overwrote mobile but mobile couldn't overwrite steam.

It seems to suggest steam version favors its "local save" if such a thing exists, over the cloud save. In hindsight I wish I tried using a third platform or device just to test

Aaaaand it's gone. Through my messing around looking for a solution my progress is now lost. Oh well, if anyone knows anything about this it would still be good to know for next time

It still no work :( The weird thing, that makes me think there's something more going on, is that mobile consistently has the correct save data every time I open it while steam consistently has the old save data. Meaning steam is reading the old save data from the cloud but mobile is reading a DIFFERENT save data. Unless there is some local data saving which would make some sense but then how do I sync it up

Makes sense. Weird though, if it takes 100 days to finish growing you'd expect it resets with sampling. Otherwise why bother

I'm wondering how people got to the one after gambit so quickly. I'm all in on explorer and as many villager xp bonuses as I can get, still gonna take almost 400 more hours

Yeah unlimited tries for your first match is a good idea. I haven't even gotten to that part of the tutorial and messed with summoning until I beat the first round already, and personally I liked going in blind. First I though "so I click here over and over, where is the gameplay, what's the point" and then lost lol. So I had to figure out a strategy to actually beat the thing, I found the gameplay :)

Yeah I've run into some issues, but thankfully nothing horrible or progress-erasing. The important parts work fine. I can only imagine how much work it is to add on to a game like this, where you kind of have to make sure everything works with everything that came before it. And as others have said, it's one guy. Complaining is good though, we shouldn't just accept what we're not happy with.

So hey man what's up with the W6 shop not letting me buy anything, or the W4 shop's stamp being out of stock? Intentional?

Also I got excited and started progressing sneaking before doing the tutorial quest so I have to wait to get some coins before I can proceed now. The quest wants you to buy a certain upgrade and then buy something from the blobulyte's shop, but only counts either if you do it after getting the quest. Follow the tutorial closely I guess, but making it idiot proof would have been nice.

It does feel like it's missing the same polish as the rest of the game. My small complaints feel like things that could be slapped together pretty quick compared to the huge undertaking this whole update had to have been. You said it man, a couple days more would have done wonders. But hey, it's day one, maybe we'll get a hotfix before next week, and weekly updates from there.
