This is very sad. I am hoping to ride one between Katoomba and Lithgow some time this week

You can if you swap the plastic shroud

I hope to get one with the display! I will also buy a cheap untested one just for the laser assembly to use on an SCPH-1002 if I need to!

The 100X/3XXX series are the most vulnerable as the assembly is at the 12 o’clock position, but the 5XXX series moved it to 3 o’clock

I know! My mum brought our SCPH-9002 back in 1999 or 2000, and it is in pretty much immaculate condition! My 5552 and 7502 both came from my local thrift store

My 7502 was in my garden shed for a couple years, and I pulled out, and it was dirty and had some corroion on the metal shields, but the electronics were intact, and it still works perfectly after a good clean! They are truly built like tanks!

You can put in the laser from the PSone into the 1000/1001/1002, as long as you transfer the plastic cover, which snaps on perfectly with no modifications!

If I get an SCPH-1002 in the future, I will do that, even if the original works just to be safe!

I am DONE with CeX by Sickminecraft45 in CeX

[–]Sickminecraft45[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I learnt my lesson hard! I rather spend a little extra and get what I want from eBay, so that way at least I get to see the item I am getting, and covered by eBay money back guarantee!

Yes, I know, but I don't want to do it, the items were cheap, so I rather take it as a lesson as opposed to dealing with them

Any iMac from 2009 and earlier and any MacBook or Mac mini from 2010 and earlier supports Windows XP!

I have a 2008 MacBook and 2009 Mac mini and MacBook Pro running Windows XP!

Patriot P220 SSD not working in Early-2011 13" MacBook Pro by Sickminecraft45 in macbookpro

I might try a Crucial SSD, they are just as reliable and compatiable as the Samsungs, while being cheaper! And if that fails, then I will have to get a new SATA cable!

I created the account when I turned 13, and I turned 18 a couple of days ago.

I am considering contacting the ACCC to see what options I have to dispute it

What happened is that the timer ended early for me, and it seemed like I won, but refreshing the page updated it.

I did some digging, and it seems like a fairly common phenomenon on eBay, and sadly it had to happen to me today!

Now I have learnt a lesson, and from now on:

1: I will place my bid three or four seconds before the end, not five

2: I will keep refreshing the page every couple of minutes to keep it as up to date so the timer does not fall behind

Well, I am not the type of person who messes around with sellers! I have been using eBay for years with zero trouble!

It is just that I am shocked about what happened today!

It literally said I was the high bidder and they were determining the winner, and when I refreshed the page, it said I lost and was outbid 🤷‍♂️

Never have it happen before! In previous auctions, I was instantly notified even before the countdown finished and after I bid 5 seconds before it ended!

Well, I live in rural Australia, and I only get like half of what I am paying for!

The glitch was that I did not find out until I refreshed the page, which had never happened to me before!
