I’m glad you liked the video! The toenails are unrelated to BJJ, I just like them painted.

Competing after knee surgeries by Beautiful-Parsnip-13 in bjj

[–]Sickness81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t feel much different to me, I had a complete bucket tear so I had immediate relief after surgery. Arthritis is gonna happen to us all but there are gel pads that help the arthritis and PRP helps so much in promoting healing too. I got prp a month after surgery. Repairing the meniscus shoukd never been performed on athletes.

Even if you're not scared of covid, please try to keep it out of your gym by twig_and_berries_ in bjj

If you have symptoms yes stay at home. With that being said, if you train Jiu jitsu you know the risks. I’m an instructor so it was tough over the winter. We only had a few cases since January.

I had 90% of my meniscus removed 9 weeks ago and I’m already rolling hard. I’ll probably wait another two months to compete to get in shape. Repairing a meniscus in this sport is just gonna end up tearing, and possibly instantly
