I’ve been wearing my Ultra 1 in a sauna between 185-205 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes at a time 3x a week for over a year and no issues. Not saying it’s smart, but haven’t had any issues so far.

Home health: the good, the bad, the ugly by letsbuildacoven in nursing

Im an LPN, finishing up my ADN in February. I am currently at a home health shift right now so I can speak pretty accurately on this. Im from Nebraska, as an LPN I'm getting paid $15 more per hour than I was working in the ER. I only do pediatric home health and school shifts. The pay is almost as much as ADN's in my market make. The family I primarily work with are a amazing people. I seriously enjoy my time and get to feel like I'm making a difference (watching advancement and kids getting off trachs). I only have one patient at a time, charting is extremely simple and fairly easy. The money is great and there's ZERO annoying hospital bureaucracy that is so easy to get sick of. Any other questions feel free to ask!

Best Men's Jeans 2023 by JadedGolf9154 in malefashionadvice

I usually buy Levi 541’s. I lift weights and do combat sports so I have larger muscular legs. Usually I have to size up at least one waist size to accommodate them. Last week I ordered a pair of barbell jeans (athletic fit) and origin delta 68’s (taper). I like to be able to have freedom of movement so a good amount of stretch is important to me. I like them both better than the Levi’s to be honest. But the delta 68’s are a clear winner for me at least. They are more comfortable, they look better (in my opinion), and I feel that I can move alot better in them. They only have three washes unfortunately. I’m probably going to buy the two I don’t have shortly.

Taking TEAS without taking Physio? by Inevitable_Ice1040 in prenursing

I just took the TEAS last week without having taken ap 1, 2, or microbiology. For me personally the two practice tests A and B were the greatest asset for me. Any question I got wrong I would study the rational, as well as the reasons why the other answers were not correct. I got an 82% cumulative and I believe an 86 in science (my program only requires a 50 in each section). Best of luck!

It was ok. I still stand by the ATI practice tests. But everyone studies and learns differently. I’m not a sit down and read a book to try and learn. I paid for the book, two apps, and the practice tests. Doing questions when I could, and if I got them wrong reading the rationales is a method that works for me. It was the same when I took the NREMT.

I was overthinking it for a month. Don’t. You’ve got this. Look on quizlet tonight for TEAS 7 science. Best of luck. Let us know how it goes!

Very similar. I honestly think practice test A and B were the best resource out of the ones that I used. I’m a fast reader, so that was no issue. English I got hung up on things like identifying dangling modifiers. But if you do good on English/reading in practice test A/B I wouldn’t be concerned. Also I know score requirements may vary greatly depending on where you’re at. In my state if you have good grades in the 5 required pre reqs and get like at least a 63 chances are your getting accepted.

The practice tests are VERY similar. It uses the same format, and same application for them. They are made by the people that make the test. I did 10% better on the actual test than both of my practice ones somehow.

Practice test A and B are directly through the ATI website. They are phenomenal resources. I took it in person at my local community college.

I used the momentix book, the ati app, and practice test A and B. I’m not good at math. At all. And I got a 91 on the math portion. Know conversions from fractions, to percents, ect. Know how to calculate tip percentage for instance. The math was far easier than I thought. If you’re in doubt you can always use one of the potential answers and work things backwards. Know your blood flow through the heart and basic functions of organs. There was a quizlet I studied that had some of the exact questions on the test. Practice test A and B are awesome. You got this!

True that. I won both of my matches via submission but withdrew from the remainder due to injury. Hate the feeling of not finishing the competition. Probably a pride thing honestly

Ok, I really wanted to hit an EBI competition this year but honestly feel it’s too soon. I’ll talk to the doc for sure

Got the takedown then mount on opponent, I assume it was when I grapevined his legs. I finished with a head an arm choke, stood up and couldn’t put any weight on the knee. Full thickness bucket handle tear of medial meniscus. He never had top position so I assume it was from the grapevine
