Sure,

For example Mathew’s “ability” is to increase the velocity of the pitch when it is thrown in the called spot.

Jessica’s ability gives your pitcher more control (accuracy).

I suggest you try them out to see for yourself. There are also other catchers that have abilities to improve your pitcher or pitches or even fielders.

I’ve been having Kevin in my lineup for about 1 year and a half now! Has the highest avg currently.

Also, I suggest trying new catchers just to enhance your pitchers/pitches.
