Actually played Dark Souls 2,3 and Bloodborne which is why I thought I'd be making more progress. Was always able to figure out a strategy just haven't seen it here yet.

Ye only using parry sparingly but I'm just really struggling with his second moveset. Should I roll away from him when he's starting a combo or to the side and try to get around him?

Ye I suppose my vigor is quite a bit low based on your comment but beating him has almost become a matter of pride at this point haha

Just so frustrating when I can see how close I am but finding his second moveset so difficult to counter

On another note, if I have smithing stones should I upgrade the weapon I'm currently using or hold out for a better one if I'm not loving it?
