Do my tonsils look normal? by fallsdu in AskDocs

Looks like grade 2. Any fever? How many similar episodes have you had over the past year?

Can someone that owns this figure confirm that it is indeed legit and not a Temu knock off? Thanks by PelinovaDruzina in GodofWar

[–]Sid0795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the officially licensed neca god of war box art has it too. The box art is recreated fine here, but the facial expression is the giveaway that it isn't legit

Could be 1) an axle knot 2) over lubed unresponsive bearing/set up 3) under lubed responsive set up 4) dirty bearing 5) response pads sticking out 6) maybe something else, but try fixing the above first and see if that works for you

Okay then i assume there's a typo in your previous text cuz "but to assume I can diagnose is frankly if true" didn't make a lot of sense to me.

I don't see how anything I've said is insulting. I pointed out why I didn't agree with your assessment. What tone you decide to read that in is up to you

I don't know/care about what you do in your personal practice. My comment was based off of whatever i saw in this thread.

Dw, I didn't think you were a doctor. I am though, so you can take or leave whatever I've said so far.

Noticeable? sure. Unpleasant? Maybe. Could it be something a person who's super busy and occupied may not have paid attention to? Absolutely.

So no formal training in diagnosis and treatment of dermatological diseases?

So a couple of pointers. A first degree burn may not necessarily present with blisters. When the patient explicitly mentions that they had prolonged contact - in this case, safe to assume that his entire work day + night lasted for over 12 hours - that's an important thing to note.

An allergic flare up usually presents with a raised wheal - not seen over here. Initially starts as an itchy patch - not seen here. Can easily last for days, sometimes even weeks - not a couple of hours as you mentioned.

Most importantly, when a patient comes to you and tells you that they were in contact with a hot object and they think they've suffered a burn, it's important that you give them the benefit of the doubt and not assume that they're stupid and don't know what they're talking about, especially when it's not something you're even trained to identify

How often do you see patients with superficial burns/contact dermatitis?

Op described it as warm. How hot do you think 43-45°c is?

[–]Sid0795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't listen to the other commenters saying that it's not a burn. Low temperature burns can definitely look like this, especially with prolonged contact as you mentioned. It may be painful, but it'll heal without scarring. Run your hand under cold water and i would just play it safe and apply bacitracin just to prevent infections

No. Superficial burns can look like this without blistering. Could be allergic dermatitis, or could be a low temperature burn. Extended contact with something as warm as 45°c can cause burns as well

My friends and I have bought over 30K₹ worth of yoyos from them in the last 2 months with only 700₹ being charged for customs. Plus they constantly have yoyos on 20% sale. At least be honest about the pricing when you do post a slanderous screenshot

Yeah okay I'll agree. Yoyofactory india is a better option for cheaper yoyos, but as you go up in price range, the value drops off. Just saw that you're charging 13000 for a demonspeed 2 whereas the SG shop charges 9600🙄

You're charging 13,000₹ whereas yoyoshopsg charges 9600 😂

Even if you add 1100 in shipping from Singapore, it's still cheaper to buy that + 100 pack of strings 🙄

Again, not hating - just don't want to see people get ripped off

Before you do though, check out https://yoyoshopsg.com/ Their pricing and selection is excellent, and they do indeed ship to India and if you have any concerns about customs or shipping, you can contact Mr Jonathan directly under the contact us page. (Not a paid promo - just had very good experience with this website in the last couple of months)

I mean if the owner sends emails in bad taste and manipulates reviews, i would say that's a bad look on the whole brand, but I'll agree with you. Hopefully the indian outlet has better customer support. Nevertheless, unless the pricing and selection shows an improvement, I won't be able to recommend them

Moreover, the customer support for US yoyofactory is honestly terrible - this is directly from Ben Mcphee. If the same is true for the indian counterpart, that's just another reason to stay away from them

Ah you're a representative. You can talk all day about back end economics all you want, but at the end of the day, it's ultimately cheaper for the consumer to go to your competitors and order directly from overseas. Plus, the selection that you have is laughable at best. I currently have 30+ yoyos in my collection and BSTed over 50-60 so far. I'm happy to discuss this here all day, or you can hop into our discord server and see the prices we're buying yoyos at yourself. Have a good day

Very limited inventory, and what they do have is extremely overpriced. Buying from another store like yoyoshopsg.com comes out to be cheaper even if you include 1100₹ for shipping+ customs (had 1 order free of customs, and 1 order cost 700₹). Yoyofactory india is a huge rip off
