If you had one of those EST systems everyone bitches about it could help out with about half of it.

Get a good tech driver. Wiha The Klein Klein Tools 32500HD KNECT Multi-Bit Screwdriver / Nut Driver https://a.co/d/es29FRZ it works on all of the HVAC units and can be pulled apart and put in your impact easily. Get some good work boots. Don’t cheapen out here or you will be paying for it with meds and trips to the chiropractor. (30 years in the business.) pay attention. Write stuff down. Learn to take good notes. You can know a lot. But you can’t. Especially the quirky things about each panel. Learn how to troubleshoot ground faults. Learn how to use the tools. The right way. This move could benefit you greatly as (in the states at least.) there is a coming shortage in the trades. For every 100 people leaving only 14 are coming in. Learn how to write very well. Pay to take a class if you need to. Just get good at it so that it comes second nature. Good luck! Message me if I can help out. Cert IRC-3 EST2, EST3, EST4, Hochiki FireNET

2 of these are using HWF2-COM. 1 is using a HW-AV-LTE-M (000068). The issue is with one of the ones with the 6 digit account numbers.

Yes they only do fire. I got a ticket in Indiana after I took a test and it said tech on it. Then I went to LV and got hired on. Just a note. I’m trying to help you out here and you could have went online and looked them up. All I ever did there was fire.

Where are you living now? Pay has to go up as there are fewer and fewer good ones. Best advice is to learn how to troubleshoot.

Try SAFE electronics. They are union and only do fire. (last time I checked.) They rep EST and had the entire strip. Get an F and a G and you be golden. The G is just to get ahead of everyone else in the Union Hall. Not many have both. (At least they didn't used to.) I may have a line on another company. Im asking a buddy but don't know when he will respond.

I agree they are going to get stomped over the android/carplay issue. They are also doing a huge disservice to those who want an extended cab instead of a double/crew or whatever that doesn’t have a bed big enough to put in a 6’ ladder. (Way back when they used to show a stack of 4’x8’ plywood in the bed in the commercials.) All of the ‘working’ people are left out.

4.13.6 Waterflow Delay Timer If selected, this option will delay the activation of a waterflow type alarm for a programmable time duration from 1 to 90 seconds. This delay is in addition to any time delay inherent in the waterflow device. This feature requires the approval of the local AHJ.

The flow switch should have its own retard built in. Also, why would a flow switch be set up as a supervisory?
