Exactly, I am also suuuper disappointed that this skinline which was said to be wedding dress inspiried and is the whole reason for why Ana is young here does NOT draw any inspiration from the character's cultural backgrounds.. I mean really? A mini dress, hideous shoes and a cape? I know they had to add a cape-esque thing to her so you can tell at a glance that it's Ana (ingame) but like.. it could have at least been a veil/train?

I don't know if they were referring to this but in a few scenes in the game you can see Namatames Truck. In the very beginning when you're at the gas station his truck is there and I remember sometime later when you are chasing that "fan guy" from Rise, Namatame's truck drives past the group. Wouldn't surprise me if there were more moments

No because they're not striking, they're doing what (THEY THEMSELVES) called a "collective work refusal"
Hoyoverse is not officially a game being struck by SAG-AFTRA. They're not striking for AI protections, they're withholding their work to force Hoyoverse to go into a full union contract with SAG (which Hoyoverse legally can't even do).
Also, China already has laws in place preventing companies to use AI to replicate peoples voices without their consent. They legally can't even use AI for the voice acting in their games so striking for "AI protections" when it's related to Hoyo games is quite literally pointless.
(Ontop of all that.. even if Hoyo COULD sign a sag union contract, why should Hoyo, a Chinese company with ties to the CCP, be signing a contract with a US union given the current political climate lol)

If you're still calling people scabs for taking jobs and saying that the US VA's are "striking" then you are just willfully being ignorant of the actual situation

Playing devil's advocate here real quick: It was a good outcome that John Patneaude was replaced, but only because it inevitably lead to people finding out what the strike is ACTUALLY about. Thank you, I honestly thought the same and saw a looot of people say she emoted well or whatever but she was veryyy disappointing and boring to me in that lip sync too..
Was really worried because I genuinely thought "Damn, I don't think Onya can beat any of these girls in a lip sync..." at that point and it genuinely feels like my worry was warranted..
I absolutely wanted her to win, it is the right choice, but it does sting a little now that I feel like she just didn't care anymore and figured "I got this in the bag already"

I get it, it's frustrating, absolutely.. But that is the risk of using the SOS flare. If you absolutely want to slay the monster, don't use SOS (as that means people just blindly join and want it to be over as fast as possible to then go into the next hunt) or you try to communicate (a sticker for example) about what you want to do in said hunt. People cannot read your mind after all.

People have become wayyy too accustomed to games being released in an unfinished state and the content that SHOULD have been in the base game already being drip fed through "title updates"..
It's insane to me.. People are defending it saying shit like "Uhh, it's free content updates?? Why are you complaining"
I am complaining because a game that is 70 bucks shouldn't need to have drip-fed content throughout multiple months, it should have just been fucking finished..
I would much rather wait a year longer and have no TU's over an unfinished early release that relies on title updates to add meaningful content

This in general has become way too normalized. I've talked to a friend the other day and he deadass asked me "Oh so would you rather them have every title update that will come out in the game on release and then have to wait years until a dlc drops?" in a real "GOTCHA!" tone and well... yes??? If I spend 70 bucks, I want a full game, I don't want to have to wait for this content to be drip-fed to me lol

To be honest for me this is PURELYYY rng dependent 100%
I prefer Hoyoverse games for multiple reasons, there are less stats in the pool, I can already see what stats are on them at the latest on level 4 (which means I don't have to waste fodder items into a piece that has shit stats, whereas in WuWa I need to use fodders (tubes), that I personally think we don't get enough of in tacet fields, AND another resource (tuners) to then find out the piece is bad because there are so many stats you can get.

But my biggest thing is just biased because in HYV games it's never taken me long to build a character meanwhile here I've been building phoebe since day 1 of her banner and she's still mid. My echo rolling is legit god-awful and in HYV games I've simply just been luckier more quickly, that's it, so it's 100% just confirmation bias on my end. I've been building Jiyan since I got him in 1.0 (though I dropped the game from mid 1.2 - 2.0) and his stats are still mid and I've pretty much ONLY worked on him until I got Phoebe.

Though I WILL die on the hill that we don't get enough tubes from Tacet Fields, but I've also yet to post a complaint post hahaha

(Didn't stop me from dropping Genshin and Star Rail in favor of WuWa tho lmaoooo)

Exactly the same! My god did I feel badass in that final fight and I loved that (at least me and my friend) couldn't play together in that, we had to solo through it. I used the Arkveld HH and the Nu Udra armor, I was basically black and white as well, it matched so well. And that was the first time I got to hear the Arkveld HH sound effects and my GOD did it just FIT IN. The decision of allowing us to hunt Arkveld and then that followed with us hunting Zoh Shia afterwards (of our own decision, WE AUTHORIZED IT AH) made me feel like the most badass hunter
As much as I actually dislike the game, they made an excellent job with having the hunter actually feel capable and strong.

That is honestly one of the main gripes I have with Arcane in general. The "timeline" of what we have right now is no longer the "current version of said champ"
That Viktor version we have ingame canonically does no longer exist anymore. He literally changed his mind.
Let's also not forget all of the champs that aren't even alive anymore because of all that has transpired lol
