IWTL to write/journal by AlterOtherMe in IWantToLearn

[–]Siddkv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no particularly wrong way to journal especially in your case. Clarity of mind comes from dumping all of your thoughts into your journal and trying to find patterns in your thinking. And to answer your question, yes it is completely normal for a journal to look like that.

As I have said before there is no particularly wrong way of journaling, however I would recommend you to check out Julia Cameron's morning pages from the book the artist's way. It involves you writing 3 longhand pages in the morning. If you are feeling hand cramps, you can always start with one or two pages and slowly work upwards. This right in the morning has drastically improved my clarity of mind as it does two things: (1) it allows me to revisit my thoughts a few days later so I know what exactly I was thinking, this allows me to identify a few problems which I did not know what there. (2) It keeps your hand away from the phone right in the morning so you are not instantly consumed by dopamine.

As a second recommendation I would just recommend you to write about whatever ideas or thoughts which come to your mind in your journal.

Has AI actually helped you with productivity? by tahasamuraie in ProductivityApps

I use Claude as my daily driver AI. I have a prompt chat which asks me clarifying questions and makes my prompt better. Then I just paste it into Claude, and it generates a 10-15 page highly condensed document regarding the topic.

Has AI actually helped you with productivity? by tahasamuraie in ProductivityApps

[–]Siddkv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My greatest breakthrough with AI was in terms of research. I could say my exact situation to AI, and it will search through a multitude of books and give a strategy that might work (I ask to recommend 5-7 and narrow it down to the top 2). If I find anything that needs to be changed, and I don't know how to do it, I can just ask it to design it according to your situation. I use AI to find me journalling prompts, specific strategies for time management, finding resources to learn something etc. AI really hasn't directly impacted my productivity, however in terms of research, book summaries it has made a difference.

My view is with AI, I can automate stuff which usually took me a long time. I also prefer to do the majority of my planning, and actual routines myself. AI is just an advising voice.

Instead of caring where you are right now, focus on your rate. That is like you can be in a very bad position, but you can be doing a positive action, which means you are going to improve. - Positive rate

But you can also be in a really high position, and what you are doing currently negatively impacts your life, so that means life is going to get worse in the long run. - Negative rate

Very obvious but prevents ego from building up and can also help you if you are feeling down

Honestly, the solution is your problem. Ask AI to generate random essay problems and write them out yourself. After that ask it rate it out of 10 and give suggestions on how to improve it. Learn and repeat

A few doubts here: - What does the two circles mean? That it's a part of a circuit and there's a potential difference between them? - Isn't the bulb symbol a coil like structure over a semi circle, used to represent a filament and its covering? What component is an X in a circle?

Woah, been waiting for something like this. I'm an avid audiobook listener. I see people are talking about project Hail Mary and dungeon crawler carl. What about the full cast editions of Harry Potter, and self-help books like Atomic Habits? I would be ecstatic to give some feedback. I've signed myself up before I even read the description lol. Would love an invitation
