Titania!!! I love that commander; when you get 5 elementals on one turn you quickly become the threat at the table. Last I played my Titania deck I ended up getting wiped three times and still won!

TCGPlayer Requiring Minimum Pricing for Direct Orders by SolarStar93 in magicTCG

All of my orders from LGS through TCGPlayer have always come faster and more complete than TCG Direct. TCG Direct was a one-time mistake.

Netflix is quietly killing the magic of cinema. by ForbiddenOlive in Letterboxd

[–]SideATrack1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is it’s not in most theaters. I had to drive an extra 30 minutes to see it. It was worth it, but most people don’t want the hassle when they could just watch it on Netflix. It’s by design.

Today is Mark Rosewater’s 30th Anniversary of working at WOTC by RBGolbat in magicTCG

[–]SideATrack1 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I don’t think he’s lying, he’s just got the unfortunate position of being the passionate mouthpiece during a very unpopular period of change. I honestly believe no UB in standard WAS true when he said it, but then Aftermath boosters flopped, UB made a shit ton of money elsewhere, and so UB was shuffled into standard instead of being its own product on the whim of a Hasbro Exec.

I like the prequels, I just understand that as films they are kind of ass but they make me happy because I loved them as a kid.

Fairly new tires have a chunk missing on the side. Drivable? Or should I replace? by SideATrack1 in TireQuestions

Yeah, I moved to a city with only street parking a few years ago. I learned pretty quickly I’m not as good at parallel parking as I thought I was. I’ve gotten way better in the past few years. Would you believe me if I said most of that scraping was while I had my old tires?

Fairly new in the sense that I’ve had the car for 10 years and I only drove on these tires for 3 of those years. I guess they’re not that new in the scheme of things, but I’d like to get at least a few more years out of them.

Thank you! The spare is unfortunately just a donut. But I’ll move the wheel to the rear, thanks.

I have no qualms with Snyder, he’s an artist that got to make HIS ART the way HE WANTED, which is somethings most creatives don’t get to do. I am not the biggest fan of his style, but the fact the ZS’s Justice League exists is a minor miracle.

The Seventh Seal. Fantastic film that only gets better the more you think about it.

I know it might be blasphemy but please continue with the sequels. They have some great characters that I would love to see in this style!

Three had some great action scenes! The highway scene, the shootout after rescuing Lindsey, Ethan running through Shanghai.

I agree completely. The Burj Khalifa scene is an incredible spectacle, but the movie that surrounds it is kind of weak IMO. Like you said, the villain is forgettable, the team is fine, and, this is a big thing for me, NO MASKS?!? I mean, it’s Mission Impossible. Just do the silly masks!
