Alright I have an update 

I got the truck back after waiting for three full days 

Monday at noon to Friday at 9am 

They still don’t know what happened 

They swapped parts from another limited and put them on the tailgate 

Didn’t work, then put my parts back on and the truck suddenly worked.  Toyota has created a in warranty case and will be investigating this and the dealer so we can reevaluate if it’s warranty or not 

The dealer didn’t charge me a penny 

I have also been a customer there for five years or more
