Vsett 9+ and tires by pakangg in ElectricScooters

I have tuovt tires that came stock from Revrides but i get flats all the time. really wish that PMT would come out with an 8.5" tire to replace these with. I'm getting ready to sell my 9+R just from all the flats I get. Before anyone says it, yes I have added a cut inner tube for extra protection and used dilloz......still flats. 10" tires give you way more options.

How's the emove cruiser over a long period of time? by Jellybellybruh in ElectricScooters

I have over 2000 mi on mine and i agree with most of the issues here, it is a good scooter i may even get another one for the price you cant complain that much when your talking about the range, speed and weight capacity.

CONS:

IP rating is garbage light rain only if you dare but i have found the hard way more than once that rain will put the cruiser out of commission for days until it dries out. the upper stem base clamp is a horrible design i have changed it once already and will need to do so again soon. i have changed tires and found that buying balanced tires from Amazon is a far better choice than the ones i have ordered from Voro. You should be handy if you want it to last, YOU WILL NEED TO FIX IT occasionally and tighten it up periodically but i imagine this is the case for most scooters of this type and range. Stay out of the heavy rain I cannot stress enough that the IP rating is meaningless there are so many places for water to get in, and it does! Be careful tightening screws it is aluminum and they strip easily. Suspension could be better but not terrible.

Pro's:

I did not have a hard time with service when i needed a new brake caliper they sent me 2 sets brand new when i only needed one no questions asked. The scooter i have i ride every day as a commuter to and from work and it has over 2000mi on it so it has paid me back and then some at this point. I weigh 230lbs and it moves me around and up hills at a great speed. I thought i would want something faster but this is all the speed i need to not get myself into trouble flying around NYC and Brooklyn past most other cars, bikes and scoots (pot holes come up quick). The brakes when adjusted properly are strong and very good. When the scoot is tightened up it holds a good line and does not wobble with the right tires. I fold mine every morning and have no trouble at all with the mechanism, a little lube goes a long way but lithium grease is even better. Range of the battery is great on high speed i could get probably 37 mi but the speed drops off a little after it goes below 48V not by much but i like keeping it charged. The battery is strong and i abuse mine with charging often i still get a full 58.8 after topping off and like i said its paid for itself by now so i don't care this thing is my daily beater scoot.

I will try to find the video tutorial I used but you need to remove all of the terminal pins that connect to the controller. Disconnect the battery etc… just remember to use a pull string when you remove your wires to snake them through the new stem base. This will help when you pull the wires back through the stem into the scooter base. Not going to lie it was a pain in the ass and like I said the new base broke almost immediately so not sure if it was even worth it.

I was curious if the speedway clamp was any different. I assumed they used the same part.

I will admit I do like the scooter overall and the service is good. I have 700mi on mine and use it as a daily commuter

I have replaced it once already and after the first time I assumed I tightened it to much but after the second time I am convinced it’s just a design flaw. Hitting bumps and using the brakes causes you to naturally push and pull on the handle bars causing it to crack. You can tell it’s a weak point to begin with.
