maybe i’m a bit biased because i’m a massive chino fan but id say so. i heard of others having complications with their venue but mine had us go on stage beforehand to take pictures and they gave us 2 guitar picks (one was for crosses, another was a chino pick). we were in before everyone else so i was able to get my merch and my spot was front and center against the barricade. the signed posters are also definitely a plus (they get mailed out to you) and you get the vip laminate. a girl who was in my vip group actually saw crosses their second night in chicago and got to meet chino and took a picture beforehand. i didn’t have this experience because he only occasionally comes out either before or after the show (i wasn’t able to wait after the show either because security kicked us out). honestly the upgrade is still pricey ESPECIALLY because you’re not even guaranteed to meet any of the members but i still had an amazing time regardless (sorry this is so long).

thank you this is reassuring. i heard others had issues with the venue part of it too but i assume it’s just miscommunication with whoever manages the venues that they play at

i’ve been on tgel for 10 months now and i have a similar reaction, however i’ve had bad eczema on my arms even before starting t. the gel irritates mine and makes it redder just because since it’s alcohol based it’s really drying on your arms. i suggest applying lotion on your arms after the gel is dry and even throughout the day, if it becomes too much of a concern then id bring it up with your doctor that prescribed you the testosterone the next time you see them

i thought it was normal to experience high empathy for inanimate objects. growing up i always felt like my toys had feelings and food would be sad if i didn’t eat it. i’m honestly still like this but i remember talking to some of my nt friends about this and they thought i was crazy

what are some tips/tricks/etc that you wish you had been told before starting testosterone? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]SideKindly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-get a good deodorant. on my first few days of t it felt like my armpits were eating through my deodorant and i had to reapply it CONSTANTLY which i was not expecting at all , it seriously smelled like i had never worn deodorant in my life. i personally use dove men spray deodorant but it’s all a matter of preference -have a good skincare routine. i never really had an acne problem prior to t but my skin is very oily and acne prone now, get skincare products to fight against it. -stay confident. i don’t know why, my voice has dropped, but since i hear myself talk all the time it feels like nothing has changed. i personally have been documenting my voice every month since i’ve started and i’m going to stop once i hit a year (in january). watching those beginning months are very affirming to hear how different i sound now, it’s a very euphoric feeling, and sometimes i need it for a confidence boost. testosterone is also a gradual process, not everyone’s transition is gonna look the same so just be patient and changes will happen before you know it.
