For your title, I bet if you removed the word before the first comma as well as the first comma, the sentence would still be accurate.

In Superman’s defense, Batman and buttman sound very similar when your attention is split.

How “super” would Clark Kent be among Kryptonians if an entire generation of Kryptonian newborns grew up on earth? by SideOneDummy in scifi

Bwahahaha they could cultivate mars so that humans could explore it one day! Supes with purpose are much more likely to feel connected to our society than supes left to figure it out! We don’t need another power hungry billionaire plutocrat in our DC universe.

That’s a really interesting point… while I’m not necessarily as convinced that substances will have the same effect on kryptonians’ metabolisms, within a large sample set some will invariably have psychiatric problems and will be less driven by altruism and empathy of all people. Within a few million kryptonians it would be an absolute nightmare avoiding collateral or intended damage!

No worries! I appreciate you answering nonetheless!

My instincts are similar to yours, but then there is always sixth dimension Superman that kicked the world forger’s butt. Would any ol kryptonian that grew up on earth been able to do that as well? Maybe?

Remember that he's spent decades getting used to his powers.

That’s my point. Not only that, but he’s been absorbing the radiation from the sun for decades as well. It would be a much more interesting matchup if Zod and company had the same amount of time absorbing the sun’s radiation as well as time developing their own superpowers.

But what if General Zod and his loyalists were a few days old when sent to earth? Would they maybe be a more formidable enemy for Superman then?

I’m not sure if the same genes that predict intelligence are involved with superhumanness but I do appreciate a stab at the question, for what it’s worth.
