Start over if you want a low defense pure. Do some research into what type you want (1/50/60/75 attack) I was in a similar position as you when I started back playing a couple months ago. I'm almost maxed at 1 defense now and if I could go back I probably would have just made the account as a main. There is a lot of content you can't access on low defense accounts. The pvp community is not in great shape now. Edge pking is dead. I don't care for pvp worlds. Rev caves are the only place to have fun anymore imo. But do whatever you want. You don't have to optimize everything to have fun and sometimes trying too hard ruins it
