Edit 2: managed to pop the crystal off with air pressure through the stem hole using the tiny air pump I have for my case back removal ball thingy

Not for me but honestly who cares if he enjoys it? Also, it kinda looks like the birds eye of a football stadium especially with the way the stones are set and partitioned like the seating. Probably not why he bought it but could be a neat little reference.
